What should I expect at my first appointment?
At your first appointment, your practitioner will take time to understand your health history, current concerns, and lifestyle. They will carry out a thorough assessment, explain their findings clearly, and, where appropriate, begin treatment straight away.
You can book with us in the following ways:
If you’re unsure which practitioner or service is most suitable, our reception team will be happy to guide you.
We accept debit card, credit card, Apple Pay, and cash. Payment is usually taken at the end of each session unless your treatment is arranged through a private health insurer.
Yes, Courtyard Clinic Malmesbury is recognised by most major private health insurers. Please let us know your provider details when booking and bring any necessary authorisation codes to your first appointment. Our reception team can help if you’re unsure what’s required.
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed sessions, may be charged in full.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Sportswear is ideal for physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and Pilates. If you’re attending for podiatry, please bring the shoes you wear most often. Trainers or supportive footwear are recommended for exercise-based appointments.
We do not have on-site parking at Courtyard Clinic Malmesbury. However, the clinic is conveniently located just off Cross Hayes car park, near the Town Hall, making it an easy walk from your car. There are other public car parks around Malmesbury, but please allow extra time before your appointment if you are using one of these.
No referral is needed. You can book directly with us for physiotherapy, podiatry, massage, or any of our other services. However, if you are already under the care of your GP or consultant, we are happy to work alongside them to ensure your care is well coordinated.
If your treatment is covered by insurance, we can usually invoice your insurer directly once authorisation is provided. Some providers may require you to pay upfront and claim reimbursement, so please confirm the details with your insurer before attending.
