Georgina Robinson
Sports Therapist and Pilates Instructor
Biography
Meet Georgina
Sport has always been a big part of my life. I have competed at regional level in lacrosse, swimming, tennis and equestrian, and while I once dreamt of becoming a professional athlete, several injuries and some wise professional advice led me to shift my focus towards sports therapy.
I graduated with a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy from the University of Worcester in 2016, and since then I have continued to expand my skills, completing qualifications in fitness instructing and personal training, first response in emergency care, first aid instructing, education and training, and APPI Pilates Instruction.
My passion lies in rehabilitation. Whether you are dealing with acute or chronic pain, I draw on techniques including sports massage, manual therapy, dry needling, dry cupping and instrument-assisted soft tissue release (IASTR), alongside a tailored rehabilitation programme designed to deliver long-term results.
Alongside my clinical work, I remain involved in sport, playing netball in the Swindon and District Leagues and working as First Team Sports Therapist for Corsham Rugby Club, Devizes Rugby Club, and Dorset and Wiltshire County.
Working at Courtyard Clinic in Malmesbury gives me the chance to collaborate with other skilled practitioners in a multi-disciplinary setting, sharing knowledge and ideas to deliver the best possible care.
