Ria Woodland

Podiatrist
Biography

Meet Ria

I am a podiatrist with 17 years of experience in treating foot and ankle conditions. I graduated with First Class Honours in Podiatry from the University of Brighton, where my studies included a successful journal publication.
My career has spanned both NHS and private practice, where I have developed expertise in the management of musculoskeletal conditions with a particular interest in human biomechanics and the treatment of lower limb pathologies.
I take a holistic approach to care, looking beyond foot and ankle function to consider each person’s overall health and lifestyle. My treatments range from conservative management and physical therapy to prescription orthotics, all tailored to help people move more comfortably and confidently.
Patients often tell me they value my warm, approachable manner and my ability to make complex medical information clear and easy to understand. My goal is always to help people return to the activities they enjoy with greater ease and confidence.
Outside of work, I am passionate about living an active lifestyle and promoting a healthy environment. I enjoy swimming, hiking, and spending time outdoors with my children and our dog.
