Sports Therapist
I am a very keen sportswoman, having competed to regional level in Lacrosse, Swimming, Tennis and Equestrian. I had always dreamt of becoming a professional athlete but following several injuries and taking professional advice, I took time away to focus on my studies and this led me to become a Sports Therapist.
I graduated with a First-Class Degree from the University of Worcester in 2016 and since continued my professional development and completed Level 3 Fitness Instructing and Personal training, First Response in Emergency Care, First Aid Instructing, Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
I developed a passion for rehabilitation and whether you are suffering from chronic or acute pain, I will complement Sports Massage, Manual Therapy, Dry Needling, Dry Cupping, instrument aided soft tissue release (IASTR) with tailored rehabilitation programme to ensure a long-term solution to your pain.
Becoming a Sports Therapist allowed me to continue my involvement in Sports both playing and working.
I currently play Netball in the Swindon and District Leagues and First Team Sports Therapist for Corsham Rugby Club, Devizes Rugby Club and Dorset and Wiltshire County.
Working at Courtyard is an exciting opportunity as it will allow me to work within a multi-disciplinary environment, allowing me to bounce ideas and solutions of other professional therapists.
