Dietitian Service in Malmesbury
What is it?
A dietitian uses evidence based nutritional recommendations with the aim of improving overall health and wellbeing.
Common Conditions
A dietitian is well placed to address clinical concerns such as blood sugar and cholesterol lowering as well as non-therapeutic needs such as meal planning and sport performance improvement. Common conditions that a dietitian can help with include the management of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), weight management concerns and relationships with food, food intolerances and nutrient imbalances.
What to expect
Ian, our dietitian will take a full medical and social history to identify your needs and any influences on your eating habits. He will discuss goals and desired outcomes, formulating a plan which puts you at the centre. Ongoing support will include regular email or telephone contact, provision of meal plans and diet sheets with adjustments as you move towards your desired goal. All recommendations are evidence based and maintain safety and efficacy at their core.
How do I arrange treatment?
Consultations are arranged directly with Ian, our dietitian. If you let us know you’d like to discuss treatment, we will ask Ian to call you directly. He will offer a free telephone consultation to discuss your particular needs and discuss an appropriate plan for you.
